The Norwegian Lundehund is a small and agile dog with a compact body and short hair. Its six toes on each paw allow it to cling to rocky surfaces, while its large ears and bright eyes give it an advantage when detecting prey. It is resistant to the weather, both the cold climates of Norway and the warm climates of other countries. This intelligent breed is easy to train and is loyal to its family. Excellent for work, the Norwegian Lundehund is capable of climbing cliffs to hunt and search. It is also good for guard duty and the sharp ears of the Lundehund make it a great noise detector.12 - 15
