The Stabyhoun is a cheerful, impulsive, friendly and very intelligent dog. It has a very fine ear for detecting sounds and its guardian instinct is very strong. It is well adapted to living in a family and is a good breed for hunting. Its loyalty to its owner is unconditional and it loves spending time with people.
