The Finnish Lapphund is a medium-sized and sturdy working dog, with a dense, unruly and weather resistant coat. Its tail is carried to one side of its body, and they are an intelligent, alert, loyal and reliable breed. They make excellent companions, being affectionate and well suited to cold climates.12 - 15
