Bullmastiffs are strong, large breed dogs with excellent guard abilities. This breed is very loyal, friendly and loving to their owners, and can make a great companion for the family. These dogs have great intelligence, which enables them to learn quickly, and great determination, and resistance to weather conditions and hostile environments. The Bullmastiff is also highly protective, but never aggressive. These dogs are tough, strong and very resistant to illness.7 - 9
